The brief for this period townhouse was to create a sophisticated, design-led home that celebrates its heritage while incorporating rich textures, statement pieces, and modern craftsmanship. The client sought a space that felt curated yet comfortable, where historic features could sit harmoniously alongside bold, contemporary elements.
THE APPROACH
Enhancing period details with bespoke design choices.
Every decision in this renovation was made with the intention of balancing the home’s original character with unique, modern touches. Traditional cornicing, fireplaces, and paneling were carefully restored, while bold color palettes, striking furniture selections, and custom materials were introduced to add depth and personality.
The transformation includes a sculptural dining space where hand-painted cabinetry and artistic lighting create an immersive experience. The living room is layered with deep green hues, plush textures, and vintage-inspired details, fostering a warm yet refined atmosphere. A striking bathroom scheme features fluted wood, brass fixtures, and rich marble, bringing a sense of opulence to the space.
