The project involved the complete refurbishment of a flat located in a beautiful Victorian mansion block in Chelsea. The goal was to strip back the existing space and redesign it with a fresh, minimalist aesthetic, while ensuring the layout remained highly functional. The vision was to create a contemporary living environment that preserved the building’s classic charm, blending high-end finishes with a timeless, yet modern style.
THE APPROACH
A Harmonious Blend of Form and Function
In partnership with Turner Pocock Studios, the design approach focused on creating a space that seamlessly combines luxury with practicality. The team took a careful, considered approach to layout and design, prioritising clean lines and understated elegance. Custom elements, such as the bespoke timber kitchen with marble worktops and stylish media joinery, were integrated to enhance both the beauty and functionality of the space. The use of a neutral, refined colour palette set the stage for a sleek, comfortable home.
THE RESULT
Modern Minimalism Meets 60's Charm
The finished space evokes a sense of calm and sophistication, with a nod to mid-century design through the choice of furniture and finishes. The flat now offers a harmonious balance of modern minimalism and 1960s-inspired style, with luxurious touches throughout. The open plan living area feels airy and inviting, thanks to a combination of natural materials and modern features. Every detail, from the custom cabinetry to the carefully selected décor, has been thoughtfully designed to create a serene, stylish home with lasting appeal.
